Opening up like a track from The Beatles 1966 album Revolver, with phased guitars and complex climbing bass guitar providing the groove, Triptides build a solid foundation for singer-guitarist Josh Menashe's soothing vocals to glide gently above the swell. Conjuring memories of The Byrds' gleaming guitars and the care-free spirit of The Beach Boys, Triptides have created a retro-inspired pop doused in reverb and nostalgia.
